Fitness 12 Beginners Triathlon Retreats

Fitness 12 Triathlon weekend is a great chance to be around like-minded people and to improve your performance. A superior trip inspired by beautiful scenery, wonderful climate and perfect training conditions. Fitness 12 Triathlon weekends pull together experts in all areas of peak performance and let you walk away inspired, informed and with the extra few percent that will make all the difference.

There will be no feeling of being lost in a crowd, maximum guests in one retreat will be a no more than thirty, so you can be certain of the utmost attention. Superb accommodation and facilities make the weekend feel both rejuvenating and rewarding. Seminars from leading experts and the world-class facilities of La Manga Club, will ensure that you get that competitive edge and a weekend to remember.

Everyday you will train in one component of Triathlon, followed by expert views and opinions. The Fitness 12 team encourages recovery and down time, time to relax and repair. The luxury spa at La Manga Club will help you feel ready for the next days training. All long weekends are full-board and we intend to take care of everything to ensure you have a trip to remember.

On your weekend you will do the following:

SWIM
• Understand the basic swimming techniques, giving you the confidence to get through your first triathlon swim and experience open water swimming.
• Understand what kit is required, and to select and fit it.

BIKE
• Gain confidence on the road with 2 supervised rides.
• Understand the basics of transition and bike positioning.

RUN
• Road running sessions down beautiful coast.
• Understanding T2 and the energy required to keep going.

Through out the weekend the Fitness 12 coaches will be on hand to answer all your questions and give you the reassurance and confidence to achieve a great time.

The Beginners Retreat is for you if:



1. You’ve completed 1-3 triathlons and want to improve your time.

2. You want to develop an understanding of race day tactics.

3. You want to improve your technique and performance.

4. You to seek the advice of top coaches

5. You want to be able to bring your partner to La Manga Club for a superb holiday.

What do I need to bring?


Everything will be done to make your retreat a great experience. Whilst we think of everything, there are a few things you might want to bring with you.
Your Bike*
There are bike available to hire from with in La Manga Club, however the number of bikes is limited and we recommend that you bring your own.
*If you choose to bring your bike, we are unable to accept responsibility its transfer.
Pedals and Cleats
We recommend that you provide your pedals and cleats, to ensure complete comfort during your ride.
Wetsuits
Depending on the season you may feel it necessary to bring your wetsuit,
Amenities
All accommodation has washing and drying facilities for your gym kit. We do however, suggest you bring three changes of gym kit.
